The Utah Chapter of the National Leather Association – International has two levels of Membership, that of Full Member and that of Supporting Member.

Initial membership requires completion of a (confidential) membership form and payment of Membership dues to the Utah Chapter Membership chair or Treasurer.  Membership submissions will be verified against a current State issued ID.

Utah Chapter Members will have full access to the Chapters Online web site, forums, and online resources. Members receive discounts when attending Chapter sponsored events, are able to participate in sponsored programs such as Mentoring or classes. There may be additional privileges &/or benefits as determined by the Board of Directors of the Chapter.

In addition Full Members (where dues have been paid for both Utah Chapter and NLA-International) are able to vote in all the Chapter’s elections, actions, and motions; are eligible to hold office, or nominate another Member for the Board of Directors of the Chapter. We also hope to offer a Utah Chapter Club Patch shortly which we would encourage wearing (but will not require, so wearing the Utah Chapter Patch is your choice).

Supporting Members pay Dues just for the Utah Chapter itself, and not for NLA-International so only receive local benefits & privileges. They are not able to hold or nominate other members for office. We hope to soon offer a membership patch specifically for NLA-Utah chapter members

Membership Dues are paid annually from July 1st until June 30th and are $25.00 for Full members and $15.00 for Supporting members. A prorated dues schedule is used to assess dues at the time of membership application as follows:

Supporting Members
July-Sept $15.00
Oct-Dec $11.25
Jan-Mar $7.50
Apr-June $3.75

The first thing we’d suggest is come out to one of the two monthly Munches we host, and meet some of us. If you decide we’re the kind of folks you’d like to hang out with, give a completed copy of the Membership application form to one of the NLA:Utah Board members.  They will verify your application against your State issued ID and receive the appropriate Membership Dues.
